Screenprinter/Custom Shirt Production

Locally owned screenprinting company is in need of a part-time
screenprint/pre-press operator for manual press as well as heat-press projects to create custom apparel. Join our fun, flexible, and creative environment!


Requirements:
- Prior production and/or screenprinting experience preferred,
but willing to train the right individual.
- Ability to do basic math and execute problem solving.
- Attention to detail, efficiency and ability to work independently a must.
- Must be honest, prompt and courteous.
- Must have valid drivers license and own vehicle for occasional deliveries.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for 5+ hours.
- Must be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus but not required.

Part-time, 20-25 hrs/week; Starting pay: $14-17 depending on prior print production and custom apparel experience.
 
Duties include:
- Screenprinting: Pre-press duties, coating screens; burning screens; On-press registration of multi-colored jobs.
- Printing shirts; Taking down screens and reclaiming/cleaning.
- Heatpressing Vinyl: Vinyl weeding, application of vinyl onto apparel.
- Wash-up and general housekeeping of work area(s).
- Taking inventory/counting in blank apparel.
- Preparing completed orders, folding/boxing.

Part-Time Position: Office Assistant/Customer Service Rep

February 1 - June 15, August 15-December 31

15-18 hours weekly (9:30am-5pm); subject to change by season

  • Customer service including answering phones, greeting customers, checkout, and vendor communications.
  • Basic office skills including mailing invoices, statements, filing and organization.
  • Assistance with production operations including quality control, shipping/receiving, and order fulfillment.
  • Candidate should have excellent communication skills, be resourceful, and proficient in math.
  • Prior Customer Service skills and/or Administrative Assistant skills required.
  • Computer skills and knowledge of Google Docs, Microsoft Excel, Word preferred but not required.
  • Shopify, Quickbooks, Social Media a plus. Will train the right candidate.
  • Wages dependent on experience; $11-14 hourly.  Pay commensurate with experience.
